Impact copolymer polypropylene is a crystalline polymer which exhibits high stiffness, excellent impact strength at temperatures well below freezing, and good electrical insulation properties. The commercial grades of polypropylene impact copolymer are available in a wide range of melt flows, impact strengths and molecular weight distributions. Special additive packages are available to meet the needs of your individual application.
Impact copolymers are primarily used in injection molding parts for automotive, appliances and other durable applications. Grades are also available for extruded sheet and thermoforming.
The wide range in physical properties, relative ease of processing and low density make impact copolymer polypropylene an extremely attractive material capable of competing with more expensive resins in a number of demanding applications.
