Students at St. John's Lutheran School in Norwood Young America take part in the Science Museums of Minnesota's Chemistry Matters program, sponsored by Flint Hills Resources.  One goal of the program, which reaches schools throughout the state, is to enhance students' interest in the study of matter and energy.

WHA bus fleet goes green with emission controls

Project Green Fleet will help reduce air pollution and improve student health by installing pollution-control equipment on 19 Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and WHA school district buses. Flint Hills Resources is a sponsor of Project Green Fleet, a initiative involving Minnesota businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations to improve the air quality inside school buses.
