A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a document that provides details on material identity, manufacturer/supplier information, hazard characterization and prevention, emergency response and other specialized information. These documents, for products other than expandable polystyrene and polymers, may be delivered by e-mail, fax or regular mail. If electing to receive a MSDS by e-mail or fax, it will be delivered within 48 hours. Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader 3.0 (or greater) is required to view a MSDS that is delivered by e-mail. A MSDS delivered by regular mail may take as long as six weeks to receive.
